1. About these terms
Muvi is a workspace for creating music videos and other audiovisual projects with reusable assets, AI generation, editing, rendering and optional public sharing. These proposed terms explain the responsibilities associated with those features. They are a review draft, not a statement that every feature or paid offering is available.
2. Operator and eligibility
The contracting entity, business address, support contact, minimum age and launch territories must be confirmed before these terms become effective. You must have legal capacity to agree to the applicable terms; a person acting for an organization must have authority to do so. Muvi is not intended for use by children. An age policy and any required verification must be approved before launch.
3. Your account
Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. Choose a nickname and profile image that do not impersonate someone else or violate their rights. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify the operator if you suspect unauthorized access. Administrative support access may be logged, including the administrator responsible for an impersonated session.
4. Your uploads and permissions
Upload only material you own or are authorized to process, transform and, when applicable, publish. This includes images, footage, songs, recordings, faces, voices, trademarks and reference assets. Having a copy of a song does not necessarily grant permission to synchronize it with video. Obtain the necessary permissions from rights holders and identifiable people, including permission for synthetic performances or lip-sync where required. Do not misrepresent generated content as an authentic recording of someone’s actions or endorsement.
5. Content ownership and service permission
You retain whatever rights you hold in your inputs. Using Muvi does not transfer ownership of those inputs to Muvi. You authorize processing, copying, storing, cropping, transforming and transmitting your content as needed to carry out your requests, provide previews, render exports and operate the service. This permission includes service providers performing those tasks. It is not an unrestricted license to sell your private content. Generated output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection; third-party rights and model-specific restrictions may affect its use. Review those restrictions before commercial distribution.
6. AI generation and review
Models can change identity, invent details, produce artifacts, refuse requests or fail. A reference image, style selection or prompt cannot guarantee fidelity, realism or accurate lip-sync. Review outputs before use. Model availability, supported parameters, safety rules and execution times may change. Do not evade provider safeguards. You are responsible for deciding whether an output is appropriate and lawful for its intended audience.
7. Tokens, estimates and paid features
Muvi tokens are service credits, not currency, investments or a promise of cash redemption. Costs can depend on the selected model, duration, resolution and processing stages. Review the displayed charge before starting. Planning, image preparation, video generation, lip-sync and rendering can be separate chargeable operations. Completed stages can remain charged when a later stage fails or is cancelled; confirmed failed reservations are released under the applicable operation rules. Provider estimates are not an invoice from that provider. Gifted or transferred tokens do not constitute a charitable donation or grant rights in another creator’s work.
Any live purchase or subscription must disclose its price, taxes, allowance, renewal, cancellation, expiration and refund conditions at checkout before payment. These commercial conditions still require approval; this draft does not create automatic renewal or remove mandatory consumer refund rights. A simulated checkout is not a completed purchase.
8. Publishing and community features
Exporting creates a video; publishing is a separate choice. Published videos and their selected title, description, tags, cover, creator profile and engagement information may appear in discovery, search and public links. Publishing authorizes Muvi to host, display and deliver that content to viewers. It does not give viewers a general license to commercially reuse it. Unpublishing stops future public availability through Muvi, subject to delivery-cache expiry, but cannot recall copies already obtained by others. Protect sensitive information before sharing.
9. Prohibited activity
Do not use Muvi for illegal content, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive impersonation, harassment, threats, fraud or infringement. Do not expose private information without authority, distribute malware, attack the service, bypass access controls or manipulate token balances, likes or views. Respect the rules of the generation providers involved in your request. Safety restrictions apply even when content is not published.
10. Reports, restrictions and account closure
The operator may restrict content or access to address abuse, legal requirements or security risks. A reporting and review process, copyright contact and account-closure procedure must be finalized before launch. A rights complaint should identify the material, its location, the rights involved and a way to contact the reporter. Where appropriate and legally permitted, users should receive the reason for an action and a way to seek review. Download content you want to retain before deleting projects or closing your account.
11. Availability and responsibility
Generation and rendering depend on third-party infrastructure and are not guaranteed to finish within an estimated time. Keep independent copies of important work. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any warranty exclusions, liability limits, governing law, courts or dispute procedures require jurisdiction-specific legal approval; this draft does not impose arbitration or a class-action waiver.
12. Changes and contact
The applicable version should be identifiable when you agree to it. Material changes should be communicated before taking effect where required. Prior acceptance records are retained separately from project content. Operator name, address, support and legal contact details remain to be supplied before publication as effective terms.
